Pizza rolls

Sift the flour into a bowl and make a well in the center. Mix the yeast and sugar in 50 ml of lukewarm water and pour into the well. Cover with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 10-15 minutes, until the yeast bubbles. Stir in the remaining ingredients and knead vigorously for at least 15 minutes, preferably with a food processor. Let the supple dough rise for at least an hour, then knead vigorously again before using. Form the dough into small sausages, 0.5 cm in diameter and about 5 cm long, and roll them up. At the same time, preheat the oven to 250°C (480°F) with the baking sheet on the middle rack. Place the “pizza snails” on the hot baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes, until they are golden brown. The secret is to place the pizza, or pizza rolls, on the very hot baking sheet; this way, the base turns out simply fantastic. A variety of sauces can be served with the pizza rolls.
