Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

makes about 14 snails

Make a dough from the first 6 ingredients; it should no longer stick to your hands. Roll out the dough to about the size of a baking sheet, not too thin. For the filling, peel and finely chop the onion and garlic, wash and dice the tomatoes. In a bowl, mix together the onion, garlic, tomatoes, 1 egg, minced meat, and 100g of the cheese, then season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix the ketchup with the oil and spread it on the rolled out dough, spread the filling on top, and then roll up the dough, starting from the narrow side. Now cut approximately 1.5cm thick slices from the roll and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Beat the second egg, brush the snails with it, and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Place in the oven at 200°C for approximately 15 minutes.
