Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 tube(s) Tomato paste
  • some white wine, sweet
  • 1 dashes Balsamic vinegar, dark
  • some garlic granules
  • some herbs, Italian
  • some sage
  • some water
  • some salt and pepper
  • a little paprika powder
  • some margarine
  • 1 dash of olive oil
  • possibly sugar, depending on the sweetness of the wine
  • possibly tomato(s), pureed

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Boil the tomato paste with the oil, margarine, some passata (optional), white wine, and a little water until smooth. Add a splash of dark balsamic vinegar and generously ground garlic. Stir in the herbs and a pinch of paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Stir in a little more sugar, depending on the sweetness of the wine. Let the sauce simmer briefly. Spread the sauce over the pizza dough and add toppings as desired. The sauce is easy to prepare in larger batches and store in jars, so you always have fresh sauce on hand.
