Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow, orange or red
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 200 g cream cheese spread
  • 500 ml tomato(s), pureed
  • 1 small can of tomatoes, chopped or peeled
  • 1 small can of corn (medium can)
  • 1 cup of sweet cream
  • 3 cubes of vegetable stock
  • 500 ml water
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • Pizza seasoning

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Season the ground beef with salt, pepper, and paprika to taste, and mix well. Sauté the diced onions and bell peppers until translucent, then add the seasoned ground beef and fry until coarsely crumbly. Stir in the chopped and pureed tomatoes along with the corn and simmer gently. Boil the stock cubes in 500 ml of water and melt the cheese. Mix the cheese mixture vigorously with the ground beef and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the cream and season to taste with the pizza seasoning. The soup is best enjoyed immediately with some baguette, rolls, or toast. If you like, you can of course add mushrooms or some gyro; everyone likes pizza differently. The soup also tastes delicious cold. Tip: I personally always season minced meat with the ready-made minced meat seasoning from the spice rack, as there is always the right mixture!
