Pizza with curd oil dough

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g quark
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 1 egg(s)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 300 g flour
  • ¾ pack of baking powder
  • 1 small can of tomatoes
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp rosemary
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • 150 g salami or cooked ham
  • 1 small can of mushrooms
  • 200 g cheese, grated (Emmental)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

In a mixing bowl, whisk the quark, milk, 4 tablespoons of oil, the egg, and salt until smooth. Combine and sift the flour and baking powder. Add the remaining oil, mix, and add half a tablespoon at a time to the quark while stirring. Quickly knead the rest (do not knead for longer than 1 minute, as otherwise the dough will stick). Roll out the dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. In a bowl, mash the tomatoes with a fork, mix in the oregano, rosemary, and thyme, and spread the seasoned tomatoes on the dough. Cut the salami or cooked ham into strips, drain the mushrooms, and spread both over the tomatoes. Sprinkle the Emmental cheese on top and bake the pizza in the center of a preheated oven at 220°C for 25-30 minutes.
