You need these ingredients for your pizza without resting

You only have to let a pizza dough rest if it contains yeast. But if you don’t want to wait long and want to top the pizza straight away and put it in the oven, then simply replace the yeast with baking powder. For a quick recipe you will need the following ingredients:

  • 400 grams of flour
  • 250 ml milk, or plant milk/water for a vegan pizza
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

This is how you succeed in making pizza dough without yeast

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees convection. Then follow the steps below:

  1. Put the (vegan) milk, oil, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Weigh the flour and mix it with the baking powder.
  3. Then gradually add the milk-oil-salt mixture to the flour. Keep stirring.
  4. Once you have mixed all the ingredients, knead the mass with your hands until an even dough is formed.
  5. Then roll out the dough, and cover it with tomato sauce and other ingredients of your choice.
  6. Then put the pizza in the oven for 10 minutes.
