The Most Dangerous Types of Pizza: Who Shouldn’t Eat Them

Sauces and mayonnaise significantly increase the calorie content of pizza and the amount of fat in the dish. Nutritionist Natalia Kruglova named the most dangerous types of pizza. According to her, Pepperoni is the most harmful of all pizzas.

“This is a rather fatty product due to the salami that is added to the composition. In addition, it is a spicy product, so it is also not suitable for everyone,” the nutritionist said.

The expert does not advise eating this pizza for people with diseases of the digestive system and recommends that they avoid pizzas with hot sauce or jalapeno peppers. Also, the nutritionist does not recommend pizza with ham and mushrooms to people with a sick pancreas, as mushrooms are contraindicated for them.

And Hawaiian pizza with canned pineapples, which contain a lot of sugar, is contraindicated for people suffering from reflux esophagitis. They shouldn’t eat pizza on the fluffy dough.

“Sauces and mayonnaise significantly increase the calorie content of pizza and the amount of fat in it. Again, this increases the taste of the product. It provokes appetite, and there is a chance that a person will eat a lot,” the expert assures.

Meanwhile, even for completely healthy people, the nutritionist does not recommend overindulging in pizza and advises eating it no more than once a week, a few slices after intense sports.
