Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 can/n tomatoes, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- some olive oil
- 500 g beef (neck, rib or shoulder or lean braised meat)
- handful of basil
- 4 tbsp oregano, dried
- ½ bunch parsley, finely chopped
- salt and pepper
- chili powder
- 500g spaghetti
- Parmesan, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Heat some olive oil in a pan and sauté the garlic. Then add the chopped tomatoes and deglaze. Now add the meat to the sauce. Do not brown the meat. Season the sauce with the remaining spices. You can also wait to add the basil for the last 10 minutes. Let the sauce simmer for 1.5-2 hours. If the sauce reduces too much, just add a little water. It shouldn’t be too reduced, but rather nice and runny. When the meat is nice and tender, season the sauce again. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti, mix everything together, and serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese.
