Plaice Stuffed with Salmon

The perfect plaice stuffed with salmon recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Plaice fillets
  • 4 Discs Smoked salmon
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Cream cheese
  • Dill
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Flour
  • Butter
  • For the sauce:
  • 40 g Butter
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 50 ml White wine
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Lemon pepper
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Lemon balm fresh
  1. Drizzle the plaice fillets with lemon juice.
  1. Melt the butter, dust in the flour while stirring. Add the cream, milk and white wine, reduce a little. Season to taste with salt, lemon pepper, lemon juice and possibly sugar.
  1. Salt and pepper the fish fillets. Season the cream cheese with salt, pepper and dill and brush the plaice fillets with it. Cover two of the plaice fillets with salmon and cover with the other two slices.
  1. Turn in flour and fry in butter on both sides.
  1. Arrange on plates with some salmon, the lemon sauce and lemon balm.
