Sugar-free waffles

Spread the love

Ingredients for 7 servings:

  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp oat flakes
  • 35 g margarine
  • 100 g flour of your choice (wheat flour/spelt flour/oat flour or similar)
  • 1 banana(s)
  • possibly grease for the waffle iron

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes

Suitable for babies

Blend all ingredients with a hand blender until smooth. The oatmeal will be a little chunky, which is okay. You won’t notice any chunkiness in the waffles. Bake in batches in the waffle iron (depending on your waffle iron, you may or may not need to grease it beforehand). This recipe is also suitable for babies, but preferably from 10-11 months and depending on the baby’s developmental stage. Notes: Other fruits and vegetables can be used instead of the banana. So far, I’ve only made them with banana, but I want to try them savory. They can also be made without banana or any other fruit or vegetables. They will just have a fairly bland flavor. You can also add spices if desired.
