Butter cookies and royal icing

Knead the shortcrust pastry from egg, room-temperature butter, flour, and sugar. By hand or with a baking machine. This amount is enough for one baking tray. The dough needs to rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours to cool completely. Roll out the dough and cut out the original plaster-sized shapes using a knife. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) and bake the cookies for about 10 minutes on the middle rack, constantly checking the oven so they don’t get too brown. Now make the royal icing by mixing powdered sugar with a little water. This will prevent the mixture from running. Fill it into a piping bag and decorate the cooled cookies. Allow the mixture to harden. Then add a few drops of blood with red jam. It tastes absolutely delicious and is great to bring to a party.
