Plum and Cream Yogurt Ice Cream

The perfect plum and cream yogurt ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Fresh plums
  • 2 tbsp Palm sugar
  • 4 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Clove powder
  • 1 pinch Ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch Pimento
  • 1 half Vanilla pod scraped out
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 250 g Cream yogurt
  1. Stone, wash and chop the plums. Melt the sugar in a pot and caramelize the plums in it, then bring the lemon juice, cinnamon, powdered cloves, cardamom, allspice and vanilla to the boil. Let cool down!
  2. Mix the cooked plums with yoghurt and maple syrup, season again if necessary and freeze in the ice cream maker for about 30-45 minutes! Or freeze in a bowl with a lid for 3-4 hours! 🙂 With the latter variant, get ice out of the freezer approx. 10 minutes before consumption!
