Plum Ice Cream

The perfect plum ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Plums
  • 80 g Sugar
  • 0,5 lemon Lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp Sour cherry juice
  • 0,5 Cinnamon stick
  • 2 Star anise
  • 400 g Cream
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • Dark chocolate
  1. Wash the plums – remove the pit and cut into pieces – with the sugar -the cherry -u. Put lemon juice – the cinnamon stick and the star anise in a pot and simmer on low heat for 2-3 minutes – let cool down – remove the cinnamon stick and star anise – puree the plums –
  2. Put the puree through a sieve – (this is how you remove the peel of the plums) stir about 100g of the cream into the fruit puree – let the mixture cool well in the refrigerator –
  3. Beat the rest of the cream until it is semi-stiff and fold it into the fruit puree – distribute it well – fill the finished mixture into the ice cream maker and let it freeze as instructed –
  4. you can also let the mixture freeze in the tk – but the mixture has to be stirred more often – serve – put ice cream scoops on plate – grate chocolate darüder and add a whipped cream that’s how I did it, but everyone can do it as they want –

  1. In the picture of the ingredients, I have a bowl with crumbled white chocolate at the bottom right – I wanted to add it to the ice cream first (just before the end of the freezing period) – but then I decided on the variant with the dark chocolate it goes better with the plum flavor
