Plum cake with quark and oil dough

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g quark
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 20 g butter, melted
  • Grease for the tray
  • 1 kg plum(s) for the topping
  • 30 g butter, melted and lightly browned
  • Sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Mix the quark, oil, egg, milk, sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, flour, and baking powder into a smooth dough. Roll out the dough on a greased baking sheet and brush generously with butter. Place the pitted plums tightly on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. Immediately after baking, drizzle with melted, lightly browned butter and sprinkle with sugar.
