Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter, room temperature
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 170 g flour
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ¼ pack of baking powder
  • 500 g plum(s), pitted, weighed
  • 1 tsp sugar, mixed with a little cinnamon, for sprinkling
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy, then add the softened butter and mix. Stir in the flour, baking powder, milk, and a pinch of salt. Pour the batter into a greased 26 cm baking pan. Place the pitted and halved plums into the batter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes. Whipped cream goes best with this. Tip: If you like, you can add a dash of Amaretto liqueur to the batter, or a few drops of bitter almond flavoring, a little grated lemon zest, or a few drops of lemon flavoring also work well.
