Plum Cake with Vanilla Pudding and Cinnamon Crumble

The perfect plum cake with vanilla pudding and cinnamon crumble recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 320 gr Flour
  • 190 gr Sugar
  • 130 gr Butter
  • 1 Tl Baking powder
  • 1 Kg Plums
  • 0,5 liter Milk
  • 1 packet Custard
  • 1 packet Breadcrumbs
  1. Knead 220 g flour, 90 g sugar, 80 g butter, egg and the baking powder into a dough. Prepare the vanilla pudding.
  2. Line a round cake tin with baking paper, lay out the dough in it and raise it a little on the edge of the cake tin. Scatter some breadcrumbs on the dough. Place the pitted plums on top. Now distribute some of the homemade vanilla pudding between the plums.
  3. Add 100 g flour, 100 g sugar and 50 g butter a little cinnamon in a bowl and mix well. Spread the crumble on the plum cake. Now bake the cake in the preheated oven at 175 to 180 degrees for about 40 to 45 minutes. (I use convection!)
