Plum cake with yogurt glaze

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g flour
  • 70 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 40 g butter, soft
  • ½ pack of dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some flour for the work surface
  • 500 g plum(s), possibly more
  • 150 g yogurt (1% fat)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • Cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Knead the flour, milk, diced butter, dried yeast, sugar, and salt into a smooth dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Roll out the dough thinly on a lightly floured surface and place it in a 26 cm non-stick springform pan. Form a rim about 3 cm high. Wash, halve, and pit the plums. Place them tightly on top of the dough. Thoroughly mix the yogurt with the egg, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of cinnamon. Pour over the plums and bake the cake in a preheated oven (top/bottom heat: 180°C, fan oven: 160°C) for about 30 minutes. Mine took about 37 minutes, so the time may vary depending on your oven.
