Vanilla poppy seed cream

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 60 g sugar
  • 2 sachets of pudding powder (vanilla flavor)
  • ½ pack of poppy seed cake
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 bag of cream stiffener

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 5 minutes

Mix the pudding mix with 1/4 liter of milk and the sugar. Bring the remaining milk and the poppy seed mixture to a boil. Stir in the mix and bring to a boil. Add more sugar to taste. Transfer the finished pudding to a bowl to cool and cover with cling film to prevent a skin from forming. Once the pudding is cold, whip the cream with the vanilla sugar and cream stiffener. Whisk the pudding again and fold in 3/4 of the cream. Transfer the remaining mixture to a piping bag and decorate the pudding as desired.
