Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g plum(s)
  • 100 g onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 100 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp beet syrup
  • 1 small piece(s) Pepper, red
  • Salt
  • 1 carnation(s)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

with roast meat

Wash, pit, and quarter the plums. Peel and finely dice the onions, dice the peppers, and sauté them with the chopped garlic in hot oil until translucent. Briefly sauté the plums. Then add the syrup and stir slowly. Season with salt and cloves. Pour in the balsamic vinegar and simmer for about 30 minutes until reduced to the desired consistency, stirring occasionally. While still hot, pour into twist-off jars and let cool for 5 minutes.
