Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 ½ kg potatoes
- 150 g flour
- 100 g starch flour
- 2 tbsp semolina
- 1 egg(s)
- Plum(s)
- sugar cubes
- Cinnamon and sugar
- butter

or plum dumplings with cinnamon and sugar
Press the peeled potatoes, preferably cooked the day before, through a ricer. Knead the flour, cornstarch, semolina, and egg into a dough. Form the dumplings and place a plum and a lump of sugar in the center of each. Add the dumplings to the boiling water. Uncover and let stand over low heat for about 15 minutes. Lightly brown the butter and sprinkle it over the slightly torn dumplings with the cinnamon and sugar.
