Plum dumplings

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Salt
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 150 g semolina
  • 500 g plum(s), pitted
  • sugar cubes
  • 100 g butter
  • 50 g almond(s), slivers
  • Cinnamon and sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

from quark – semolina dough

Mix the quark, egg, salt, sugar, and semolina into a smooth dough and let it rest for 20 minutes. Place a sugar cube into each plum and coat it in the dough. Simmer in salted water for 20 minutes. Toast the almond slivers in butter and serve with the dumplings, cinnamon, and sugar.
