Plum Jam – Parfait

The perfect plum jam – parfait recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Plum jam
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 4 Egg yolk
  • 200 g Cream
  1. Finely puree the plum jam with 3 tablespoons of water and 50 g of sugar in a saucepan.
  2. Let simmer on the stove for 2 – 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Let cool down a little and add the egg yolks one after the other.
  4. Beat with the mixer until frothy.
  5. Put in a cool place.
  6. Whip the cream until stiff and fold into the cooled plum jam mixture.
  7. 4 Line small molds with cling film and fill in the parfait.
  8. Place in the freezer for a few hours.
  9. To serve, turn out the molds, remove the foil and turn them onto plates.
  10. As a side dish, put parboiled plums in red wine and a cinnamon stick and a dab of whipped cream.
