Delicious Cookies with Plum Jam

The perfect delicious cookies with plum jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Flour type 405
  • 200 g Butter
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 100 g Plum jam
  • Zest of a lemon and some powdered sugar to dust
  1. Cut the butter into large cubes and chill. Then knead all ingredients (except jam and powdered sugar) with your hands until you have a smooth dough. Let this rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. Dust the work surface with coarse flour (type 1050). Roll out the dough and cut out with a ring approx. 10 cm in diameter. Place half of the cut out cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread a thin layer of plum jam. The other half is cut out in the middle with a smaller cookie cutter (heart-shaped for me) and placed on top of the cookies coated with jam. Preheat the oven to 160 ° and bake the cookies for about 16 minutes. Then dust with powdered sugar and serve cold.
