Ingredients
- 300 g Flour type 405
- 200 g Butter
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 100 g Plum jam
- Zest of a lemon and some powdered sugar to dust
Instructions
- Cut the butter into large cubes and chill. Then knead all ingredients (except jam and powdered sugar) with your hands until you have a smooth dough. Let this rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. Dust the work surface with coarse flour (type 1050). Roll out the dough and cut out with a ring approx. 10 cm in diameter. Place half of the cut out cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread a thin layer of plum jam. The other half is cut out in the middle with a smaller cookie cutter (heart-shaped for me) and placed on top of the cookies coated with jam. Preheat the oven to 160 ° and bake the cookies for about 16 minutes. Then dust with powdered sugar and serve cold.
