Plum jam with tonka bean

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg plum(s)
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 ml red wine, dry
  • 1 tonka bean(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Pit and halve the plums. Finely grate the tonka bean. Bring all ingredients to a boil and then simmer over low heat for about 1 hour. Blend thoroughly during the simmering process. Pour into twist-off jars while still hot and let cool upside down. If you want an attractive color, you can add about 1 tablespoon of citric acid.
