Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g blackberries, fresh
  • 150 g apples, sour
  • 150 g onion(s)
  • 100 g raisins
  • 100 ml vinegar (red wine vinegar)
  • ¼ tsp salt and pepper
  • 200 g gelling sugar, 2:1
  • ¼ tsp ginger powder
  • ¼ tsp coriander, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

great for Sunday roast

Dice the peeled apples and onions. Bring the blackberries, onions, apples, raisins, vinegar, and spices to a boil and simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly. Sprinkle in the gelling sugar and bring back to a boil while stirring. Let simmer for 3 minutes. Pour into jars while still hot and immediately seal with twist-off lids. Makes approximately 6-8 jars.
