Plum pudding in a glass

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g plum(s)
  • 50 g sugar, depending on the sweetness of the plums
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 pack of pudding powder (vanilla pudding powder)
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

preserved dessert

Pit and finely chop the plums. Bring to a boil along with the sugar, cinnamon, and water (except for 6 tablespoons) and simmer until the plums are soft. Puree the plums. Meanwhile, combine the custard powder with the 6 tablespoons of water and mix with the plums. Bring back to a boil while stirring. Pour into clean twist-off jars, immediately screwing on the lids. The pudding will keep for about 3 months. Of course, it can be eaten straight away, but I like to keep it in stock for a quick dessert. It also makes a great gift.
