Plums in red wine

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg plum(s), ripe
  • 700 g sugar
  • 750 ml red wine, dry
  • 2 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 10 cloves, whole
  • 1 star anise
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 2 cl Amaretto

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the ripe plums, halve them, and pit them. Place them in a large pot. Add the sugar and red wine with the spices. Stir everything together and bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Add a shot glass of Amaretto and quickly pour into hot, rinsed glasses. Turn upside down for 10 minutes. Delicious for yourself or as a gift.
