pointed cabbage and gnocchi pot

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 pointed cabbage
  • 1 kg minced beef
  • ½ liter chicken broth
  • 1 liter beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce, sweet
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 500 g gnocchi, mini

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Fry the minced meat in hot oil and brown lightly. Remove the outer leaves from the pointed cabbage, halve it, and remove the stalk in a wedge shape. Then cut the cabbage into pieces or strips. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper, add the cabbage and fry briefly. Stir in the tomato paste and soy sauce and deglaze with both stocks. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes, until the cabbage is just cooked through. Add the mini gnocchi and cook until tender (optionally, cook them separately and stir them in). Season again with salt, pepper, and paprika. If you like, you can thicken it with a little cornstarch mixed with water. But we prefer it without.
