Kohlrabi vegetables with potatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 large kohlrabi
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 200 g bacon
  • 3 corner(s) of processed cheese
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 400 ml broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Place waxy potatoes in salted, cold water and boil. Once cooked, rinse with cold water and remove the skins. Meanwhile, peel the kohlrabi, halve it, and cut it into approximately 1 cm thick slices. Dice the onions and bacon, then fry them lightly. Deglaze with a splash of wine and the stock. Add the kohlrabi and cream cheese and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, slice the potatoes and kohlrabi and add them to the pot. Finally, add the cream and season with salt, pepper, paprika, nutmeg, and dried herbs. Perfect with meat and fish.
