Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 ml broth
  • 400 g cream
  • 300 g instant polenta
  • 75 g Parmesan
  • 1 garlic clove(s), finely chopped
  • 2 sprig(s) thyme or dried ground herbs
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring the broth and cream to a boil in a saucepan with the garlic and ground thyme. Carefully stir in the polenta and cook over low heat for about 1 minute, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper. Then pour the polenta mixture onto a lightly oiled baking sheet or into a baking dish and smooth it out. Chill for 15 minutes. Cut the polenta into squares with a knife and fry in a little hot olive oil until crispy on both sides. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
