Polish Style Potato Salad

The perfect polish style potato salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 13 Medium-Sized potato (waxy)
  • 1 Can Peas & Carrots
  • 1 Glass Gherkins
  • 10 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Mustard medium hot
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. First, the potatoes are boiled in their skins for about 30 minutes and then cooled. The eggs are hard-boiled and after they have cooled down, the eggs are cut into small cubes just like the potatoes. The peas and carrots are drained and then I cut the carrots into smaller slices. The pickled cucumbers are cut into small cubes and about 100 ml of cucumber water are collected. Now all the ingredients are in a large bowl, the cucumber water can be added and seasoned with salt and pepper to taste. Then add 2 teaspoons of mustard and finally majo. You have to taste the majo. Best not too little and not too much;) Everyone has a different taste. Can be prepared a day in advance. However, it should then be stored in a cool place.
