Pollock on curry onion vegetables

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g fish fillet(s) (pollock), frozen, in blocks
  • 400 g onion(s)
  • curry powder
  • salt and pepper
  • oil
  • Water or white wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the onions, not too finely, and fry them briefly in a pan with a little oil. They can also be sautéed in water without fat if you prefer. Deglaze with water or white wine to taste and season with plenty of curry powder, adding a little salt and pepper. Cook over high heat for about 10 minutes, then place the slightly thawed pollock on top of the onions. Continue cooking over medium heat, turning the pollock blocks once after about 10 minutes. When the pollock is cooked, season with salt if desired.
