Pom-Pom blanc basic preparation

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 m.-large mushroom (Pom-Pom blanc)
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

The Pom-Pom blanc should not be washed; it is simply brushed. Then cut the mushroom into small pieces. Heat the butter in a pan and, once melted, add the mushroom pieces. As with all mushrooms, if the mushroom is fried at too low a heat, it will ooze water. Therefore, the heat should be slightly higher so that it is fried rather than boiled. Season the mushroom in the pan with salt and pepper. When the Pom-Pom blanc is browned, it is ready! The fried Pom-Pom blanc can be eaten with salad or, for example, as a side dish with potatoes.
