Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pork fillet(s) (approx. 600g)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, finely diced
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Bertram
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion(s), quartered
  • ¾ liter of milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

simple but very tasty

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Rub the fillet thoroughly with the spices. Brown it briskly in hot butter, add the quartered onion and diced garlic, and deglaze with milk. Place the fillet in the oven and cook for 1 hour, gradually adding the milk and allowing it to reduce. After half an hour, turn the fillet over. The milk sauce should be golden yellow. After the cooking time, remove the fillet from the sauce and let it draw its juices while the oven is still off. In the meantime, whisk the sauce thoroughly; if you like, you can also purée it. Slice the fillet and serve with the sauce! Serve with spaetzle or dumplings and a salad!
