Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pork loin(s)
  • 100 g ham, cooked, sliced
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda or Edam), grated
  • ½ liter wine, white, dry
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the loin into approximately 2 cm thick slices and do not season! Flatten each slice slightly with your hand. Form the cheese into dumplings (as many as there are meat slices). Place the dumplings on top of the meat slices and cover with ham (divide large ham slices). Place these towers in a hot, greased pan and cover. Reduce heat and cook slowly. Keep the meat warm. Melt the butter in the pan to loosen the pan juices. Add flour and deglaze with white wine. Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Serve with duchess potatoes or gnocchi.
