Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 pork fillet(s), approx. 600g
- 375 g mozzarella
- 100 ml cream
- salt and pepper
- 1 bunch of basil, fresh, optionally dried, but then use less
- some butter
- 125 ml sauce (tomato sauce)
- 125 ml gravy
- oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cut the fillet into medallions. Coat in flour, fry briefly in oil, and season with salt and pepper. Place in an ovenproof casserole dish. Place a slice of mozzarella on each medallion, then top with a few basil leaves and a drizzle of tomato sauce. Pour gravy, knobs of butter, and cream around the medallions. Bake until the cheese is melted. Serve with butter beans and fried potatoes seasoned with rosemary.
