Cauliflower gratin

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cauliflower, approx. 750g
  • Salt
  • 350 g minced beef
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • pepper
  • 3 spring onions
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 200 ml broth
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 200 g cheese (raclette cheese)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Clean the cauliflower, divide it into florets, and cook in boiling salted water until al dente. Fry the minced meat in hot oil until crumbly, season with salt and pepper. Clean the spring onions, slice them into rings, add them to the meat, and sauté briefly. Add the tomato paste and sauté briefly in the minced meat. Deglaze with the stock and bring to a boil. Season with salt and cayenne pepper to taste. Cut the cheese into strips. Pour the sauce into a baking dish, arrange the cauliflower florets on top, top with cheese strips, and bake under the preheated grill on the second rack from the bottom for about 5 minutes.
