Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g pork
  • 750 g leek
  • 4 beef tomatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Specialty from France

Cut the meat into four thick slices and sear them vigorously on both sides in hot oil. Then remove the meat, season with salt and pepper, and sauté the finely chopped leek in the same pan over low heat. Add the tomatoes and garlic. Place the meat slices on top, pour in the broth and wine, and simmer the whole thing, covered, over low heat for about an hour. Add more broth if necessary. This dish is delicious with boiled potatoes or oven-fresh baguette.
