Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 pork schnitzels
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 balls of mozzarella
- 50 g butter
- 50 g flour
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 500 ml broth
- herbs, Italian
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Season the schnitzels with salt and pepper, sear well on both sides, and place in a greased baking dish. Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella and top the schnitzels with them. (First the tomatoes, then the mozzarella on top). Melt the butter in a saucepan and briefly sauté the flour. Add the tomato paste, mix well, and then gradually add the broth while stirring. Bring to a boil briefly and season with herbs. Pour the sauce over the schnitzels and bake in the oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Serve with potatoes or pasta.
