Pork strips with white cabbage

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g schnitzel meat
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 700 g white cabbage
  • 200 g onion(s)
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • 2 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 5 dl beef broth
  • n. B. Sherry, dry
  • 3 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 4 tbsp lard
  • possibly tomato ketchup

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the meat into strips. Slice the white cabbage and slice the bell peppers. Dice the onions. Heat the lard in a saucepan and fry the onions until translucent. Add the meat and fry. Add the cabbage and fry briefly, then deglaze with stock. Stir in the seasoning and sherry. Cover and cook for 15 minutes, then add the bell pepper slices and finish cooking. Stir in the crème fraîche; you can also stir in a little tomato ketchup. Rice is delicious with this dish.
