Porridge with bananas and blueberries

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 40 g oat flakes
  • 220 ml milk
  • ½ vanilla pod(s)
  • 1 small banana(s), ripe
  • 2 tbsp cornflakes and wheat pops mixed
  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp blueberries
  • n. B. sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Split the vanilla pod lengthwise, scrape out the seeds, and place them in a saucepan along with the pod, milk, and oats. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring, then simmer over low heat for about 5-10 minutes until a porridge forms. Then remove the pod. Mash half of the banana, stir it into the finished porridge, and pour the porridge into a bowl. Serve the porridge with the cornflakes and wheat pops, the remaining banana, the chocolate chips, and the washed blueberries. I never add sweeteners because the sweet fruit is enough for me, but everyone has to decide for themselves. If you like, you can sweeten with honey or sugar.
