Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 700 g potatoes, approx.
- lots of olive oil for frying
- e.g. sea salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Potato wedges
Cut the potatoes into very thin slices and pat dry. Heat the olive oil in a deep fryer until it sizzles when a bread cube is dropped in. Add the potato slices in batches. Fry until just golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper. Return all the potato slices to the pan and fry until browned and crispy. Then remove and drain. Serve sprinkled with sea salt.
