Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g tuna in its own juice
- 2 medium-sized eggs, boiled
- 2 m.-large gherkins
- 3 m.-large tomato(s)
- 2 slices of pineapple
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 250 g pasta
- salt water
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp, leveled salt
- 1 tsp, levelled sugar
- 1 tsp, leveled curry powder
- 1 small jar of mayonnaise
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
refreshing pasta salad
Cook 250g of pasta in salted water, drain, and let cool. Tear the tuna into small pieces with a fork. Slice or thinly slice the eggs and tomatoes. Finely dice the cucumber, pineapple rings, and onions. Combine everything in a bowl and mix with the salt, sugar, curry, vinegar, and mayonnaise. Let the salad sit for at least 1 hour. In my experience, this dish is also enjoyed by people who don’t normally like tuna or pineapple in salads.
