- 500 g smoked pork
- 500 g potatoes
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 300 ml milk or cream
- 200 ml vegetable stock
- 2 eggs

- some herb cream cheese
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Clean the Brussels sprouts and cook them in salted water until al dente. Peel the potatoes, quarter them, and boil them until tender. Place both in a large casserole dish. Meanwhile, dice the smoked pork. Briefly fry it with a roughly diced, medium-sized onion and pour it over the vegetables. For the sauce, combine the milk or cream, broth, a little cream cheese (about 1 tablespoon), and the eggs. Season generously with salt, pepper, paprika, and a pinch of nutmeg (use less salt, as the smoked pork is already salty). Pour the sauce into the casserole dish, sprinkle with the cheese, and bake in the oven at 200°C for about 25-30 minutes.
