Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 10 potatoes
  • 3 onions
  • 5 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 4 Landjäger
  • 1 cup condensed milk (4%)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Cook the potatoes and eggs as usual. Meanwhile, finely chop the onions, Landjäger sausage, and eggs, and mix everything together. Peel and slice the potatoes. In a casserole dish, alternate layers of potatoes and onion mixture. Repeat until all ingredients are used up (start with the potatoes and end with the potatoes). Season each layer with salt and pepper and top with condensed milk at the end. It’s best to save some milk and pour it over the top if needed. Place the lid on and bake in the oven at 175°C for about 1 hour, then bake uncovered for another half hour.
