Potato and meatball skewers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g potatoes, small
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 stale roll
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash the potatoes and boil for about 15 minutes. Soak the bread rolls. Place the minced meat in a bowl. Add the diced onion, spices, parsley, and the squeezed-out bread roll, and knead everything well. Drain, rinse, and peel the potatoes. Form the minced meat mixture into balls (the same size as the potatoes). Alternate potatoes and meatballs on the skewers. Heat oil in a large pan and fry the skewers on all sides for about 10 minutes. The skewers can also be grilled. Serve with a mixed salad.
