Potato and sauerkraut pancakes

  • 1 size Potato (250gr.)
  • 245 g Sauerkraut, loose fresh from the barrel
  • 25 g Spelled flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Caraway seed
  • Salt, gourmet pepper

miscellaneous

  • 2 tbsp Sour cream, homemade
  • 2 tbsp Cucumber salad, homemade

Potato and sauerkraut pancakes

  1. Peel the large potato and cut into pieces. Then put in a food processor. Add the sauerkraut, egg, flour, caraway seeds, salt and gourmet pepper. Chop everything up and process into a pulp.
  2. Take a pan and add fat, heat. Fry / bake pancakes from the porridge until nothing is left of the batter. Take two flat plates and place a couple of the potato and sauerkraut pancakes on them. I served it with a homemade sour cream and a small cucumber salad.
