Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 800 g potatoes
- 40 g butter
- 2 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
- 2 eggs
- Salt
- 300 g savoy cabbage
- 150 g cheese (Provolone)
- 100 g cooked ham
- 20 g butter
- 30 g breadcrumbs
- Parmesan, freshly grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Boil the potatoes, peel them, and mash them in a bowl. Add the butter, paprika, eggs, and salt and mix everything together. Flatten the thick veins of the savoy cabbage leaves and briefly blanch the leaves in boiling water. Grease a baking dish with 20g of butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Spread a layer of savoy cabbage on top. Add 1/3 of the potato mixture and smooth it down. Cover the potato mixture with ham and cheese. Repeat this process. The last layer is the potato mixture. Sprinkle some grated cheese on top. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for approx. 30 minutes.
