Potato and vegetable gratin

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 75 g potatoes
  • 75 g carrot(s) or kohlrabi, also mixed
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 250 ml milk
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg
  • some cream
  • Vegetable broth, granulated
  • e.g. ham or smoked sausage
  • n. B. Cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Peel potatoes, carrots, or kohlrabi and cut into julienne strips. Sauté the onion and then add it to a pan with milk, a little cream, and seasoning. Add the potatoes and vegetables and cook for about 15 minutes. Then stir in the diced sausage. Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
