Potato-carrot mash

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 bunch carrot(s) with greens
  • 3 large potatoes
  • 1 cube of beef broth
  • e.g. parsley
  • 1 onion(s)
  • oil
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

A recipe from my grandma. Very delicious

First, peel and dice the onions, potatoes, and carrots. Fry the onions in a pan until golden brown. Then add the carrots and sauté lightly. Now add the potatoes and a little water (about 1/4 of the pot). Be careful: If you use too much water, the porridge will end up too thin. Add the beef broth cube and let it dissolve. Cover and simmer over low heat until everything is thoroughly cooked. This takes about 10-15 minutes, depending on the quantity. Season with parsley and puree using a hand blender. I recommend serving this with meatballs in dark sauce or eggs.
